Google Play’s challenge was to get casual gamers to have more brand affinity and feel better about mobile gaming anywhere and everywhere.
To help destigmatize mobile gaming and show that Google Play is a champion for turning everyday downtime into unforgettable escapes we launched the “Moments of Play” campaign.
To kick off the campaign we transformed a boring laundromat into a “Pay-To-Play” experience where visitors got free laundry, prizes and treats just by playing one of the featured mobile titles. Winner of Silver at the 2018 Ex Awards.
Digital videos expanded on the campaign by bringing a dose of whimsy to otherwise dull scenarios.
And Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Twitter ad units gave users different ways to destroy a dull office space based on game play, because whats more fun than setting your desk on fire.
