Rebranding

The Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor needed a complete brand overhaul to align with local theater-goers sensibilities. To attract a younger, sophisticated audience, inspiration for the branding came from prominent New York City cultural institutions and then infused with the theater’s own unique characteristics.

BRANDING ELEMENTS

The design is centered around a modern and editorial aesthetic with artistic qualities that speak to the new target’s interests. The logo, inspired by the theater building itself, manipulates classic typography to reinforce the fusion of sophistication and youthful playfulness.

The new branding was applied across all physical and digital theater properties including signage, posters, website redesign, gala and event invitations and marketing materials.
